Set your in-game guild note

In World of Warcraft, open the guild roster and enter this in your Public Note:

Use Alt of [Main] | Profession | Profession on alts. Add ★ only if you volunteer as a Guild Crafter.

Join one activity

Choose a group, event, mentor check-in, crafting exchange, voice hangout, or roleplay gathering.

RPG immersion is welcome. Speak in character, imagine a history, salute the Guard, and let logging into Azeroth feel like leaving real life at the city gates. Roleplay is encouraged but never required, and everyone’s boundaries still matter.

Purpose and identity

Who we are and what success looks like

What

We are a community-focused, new-player-friendly guild with an organized path toward endgame advancement. Social play, crafting, PvP, delves, dungeons, learning groups, and roleplay all belong under one guild identity.

Why

We want people to feel welcome and still have somewhere to grow. This keeps the guild social, active, and moving toward harder content together.

Welcome others, join in when you can, help people learn, and respect the requirements for competitive teams.

Code of conduct

Respect, safety, privacy, and fair play

What

  • Treat members and outsiders with dignity.
  • No harassment, hate speech, stalking, doxxing, retaliation, or sexual pressure.
  • Keep personal and officer information private.
  • Play legitimately and follow Blizzard’s rules.
  • Respect event leaders, posted requirements, and other people’s time.

Why

People should feel safe asking questions, making mistakes, and setting boundaries. The same rules apply to everyone.

Step away from heated public arguments. Bring concerns to an officer privately and share the facts without rallying others to take sides.

Why

These ranks show a member’s place, activity focus, trusted access, or leadership responsibility. Royal Expedition and Royal Vanguard identify how members prefer to play; Guild Banker and the Kings ranks carry added trust.

Keep participating, helping others, and building your skills. Commendations help leadership notice your contributions, but good conduct always comes first.

Activity and real life

Stay connected without turning the guild into a job

What

Join guild life when you can; there is no daily attendance requirement. If you will be away, let an officer know. We usually check in after 30 days and may clear inactive characters after 60 days without a response.

Why

An active roster makes it easier to find groups while leaving plenty of room for real life.

Tell us when you need a break. Members who leave in good standing are welcome to return when they are ready.

Communication standards

Clear, calm, and easy to find

What

Check Discord announcements and the guild calendar for official news. Event posts should clearly say when, where, who may join, and how to sign up. Praise belongs in public; coaching and discipline stay private.

Why

Clear messages help everyone find events and stay included, even if they cannot spend much time in voice chat.

Read announcements, update your event signup when plans change, and ask if anything is unclear.

RPG immersion and imagination

Enter Azeroth without forcing a performance

What

Members may talk in character, write backstories, use titles, stage ceremonies, tell tavern stories, and frame ordinary content as Guard missions. Mark out-of-character conversation when confusion is likely.

Why

Shared imagination can make the guild feel like a real home in Azeroth. Members who prefer ordinary conversation are just as welcome.

Put it into practice

Roleplay never excuses harassment, unwanted intimacy, disruption, or pressure to reveal real-life information. Consent and kindness outrank the scene.

Recruitment and mentoring

Invite for fit; teach toward independence

What

We welcome new, returning, and experienced players who share our values. Mentors usually help with one goal at a time, such as class basics, gearing, PvP, professions, or getting ready for groups.

Why

Good mentoring helps players become confident without turning helpful guildmates into permanent carries.

Put it into practice

Invite people honestly, never spam or poach, and ask for a mentor when you have a clear goal you want help reaching.

Discipline and appeals

What

  1. Informal coaching for ordinary first problems.
  2. Written warning for repeated or serious concerns.
  3. Temporary restriction or probation when appropriate.
  4. Removal for continued, severe, or dangerous conduct.

Why

Members deserve a fair chance to correct ordinary problems, while serious safety or privacy concerns may require immediate action.

Put it into practice

If a warning affects you, an officer will explain what happened, what needs to change, and what happens next. You may appeal with new information or point out a mistake in the process.

GUILD LEADERSHIP & SERVICE DIRECTORYThe Royal CouncilSee who leads the guild, who handles each service, and where volunteers are welcome.

The Royal Council is the guild’s leadership and volunteer service team. Guild ranks show membership, activity focus, access, or leadership; Council services show what work someone helps with.

During the founding season, a few people cover several services. A service may have more than one helper, and one person may help in more than one area.

What

Use the standard profession format in your in-game guild note so members can find crafters. The guild bank holds useful shared supplies, and rare materials are saved for approved guild needs.

This helps everyone find the right crafter, protects shared resources, and respects the time and materials donated by guildmates.

Recognition for participation that helps others

What

  • 1: join a qualifying guild group.

Why

Commendations help the guild notice members who show up, teach, craft, lead, and make activities better for others.

Put it into practice

You do not need to track your own points. Officers record approved contributions and consider the full picture when recognizing or promoting members.
